We discussed an overview of the Commonwealth’s spending plan for early education and care for the current fiscal year. Following a look inside the budget for fiscal year 2024 (FY24) -- which began on July 1st of this year and ends on June 30, 2024 – we took a closer look at key items and what the budget allocations mean for the sector’s operations and ongoing efforts to achieve affordability for families, high-quality care for children, and solvency for providers.
