The Commonwealth Cares for Children (C3) Grant Program & The FY23 Budget

On April 7th, Neighborhood Villages hosted a virtual conversation in partnership with Strategies for Children to talk about a key budget priority for families, educators, and early education providers across the Commonwealth: the Massachusetts Commonwealth Cares for Children (C3) Stabilization Grant program. The discussion covered the C3 grant program, why it’s been so successful, and why it must be a FY23 budget priority for the Commonwealth. The conversation highlighted how C3 grants have stabilized the early education and care field as a whole and must be made widely available to all licensed providers in the state.
